Swing Patrol Lindy Friday is hosting a series of low-stress, maximum-fun Mini Comps. Throughout 2025, there will be short competitions held at Lindy Friday, with a schedule that highlights various swing dance styles, aimed at dancers of all levels.
All competitions will be run as instant finals, with no heats or prelims.
It’s free to compete (but you do need to pay at the door to attend Lindy Friday).

Our first comp is 30 Second Showcase on Friday 21 March 2025 , at approx 9.15pm at Dancehouse – 150 Princes St, Carlton North VIC 3054
This is a choreography competition, for any and all styles of swing dance. Choose music that inspires you and get creative!
Open to dancers of all levels, for solo dancers or groups. No limit on the number of dancers per team (as long as you all fit on the dance floor in the Sylvia Staehli Theatre at Dancehouse.)
