Introducing a relaxed fortnightly solo jazz class with local swing superstar, Miya Miyazaki.
Casual, drop-in classes, no bookings, no courses, no previous experience necessary.

Each lesson will break down the essential jazz steps that form the foundation of this fun and energetic dance. Lots of opportunity to practice, with a short routine, fun variations and musical hits. Then dancing in small groups, improvising using the same steps. Build your skills, enhance your partner dancing, and enjoy moving to wonderful jazz music. Whether you’ve never danced before or have been dancing for years, you’re welcome to come along.

Location: Melbourne City Ballroom: Level 2 / 673 Bourke St, Melbourne (enter via Godfrey St).
* For those who know MCB as the venue for Swing Patrol Melbourne CBD and Swing City, note that our Solo Jazz classes will be held on Level 2, in a smaller, more intimate space suited to solo dancing.
Cost: $20, pay at the door. Cashless payment preferred.
