Lindy Friday is a monthly, beginner-friendly social dance, welcoming new dancers to the social floor and the whole community to share the floor with them.
The evening starts with a lesson designed to give newcomers a few moves for the dance floor, and more experienced dancers the chance to warm up their feet, meet new people and even practice their non-dominant dance role.

7.00 – 8.00pm: Beginner-friendly Lindy Hop lesson
Casual, drop-in class, all welcome! No bookings – pay at the door. No partner required. No experience necessary. Learn the basics and be dancing in no time!

Once a month may not be the optimum way to learn, so you might want to explore additional classes to accelerate your swing dance journey. But one of the best – and most fun – ways to improve as a dancer is to dance! Stick around after the lesson for social dancing 8 – 10.30pm. It’s a fantastic opportunity to reinforce what you’ve learned, connect with fellow dancers, be inspired by others and enjoy great swing music.
