Weekly Swing Dancing classes, for total beginners and beyond.

Total Beginner | 7.00 – 7.30pm
Brand new to swing? This is the class for you. Everyone welcome! Absolute fundamentals. If you’ve never been to a swing dance lesson before, this is the place to start. No partner required.

7.30 – 7.45pm – Practice and social dance time

Beginner Swing Dancing | 7.45 – 8.45pm
The basics and building the repertoire. This class is all about having fun, getting used to the basic steps, meeting new people and learning about what makes Swing such a wonderful and fun social dance. We’ll assume you are comfortable with the basic rhythms of 6 and 8 beat lindy hop and charleston (if not, take a few of our 7pm Total Beginner lessons), and the instructors will review the basics and work to build up the repertoire. You don’t need to bring a partner – we change partners throughout the lesson, for enhanced learning and a real taste of social dancing.
