Swing Patrol Melbourne CBD is moving to Melbourne City Ballroom, and changing to Thursday nights.

When: Thursdays from 20 February 2025.
Where: Melbourne City Ballroom, Level 3/673 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Located between Spencer St and King St, on the corner of Godfrey St (near Movenpick Hotel). Take the lift to Level 3.

The class timetable will remain the same:
6 – 7pm Beginners
7.15 – 8.15pm Beginner Plus
8.30 – 9.30pm Intermediate/Intermediate Plus
AND the monthly Swing City social dance will continue at the new location.

A word from CBD anchors Sarah & Josh:
We have had the most amazing partnership with The Exford Hotel in the heart of our beautiful city for 14 wonderful years. This has always been the home of SP CBD and we have loved every darned minute of it. Late last year, The Exford advised that they are doing renovations to the upstairs floor that sees them putting in permanent booths where our dance floor currently is. Sadly, that means we’ve had to find a new home.
Change is hard and we know that a change in venue as well as a change in night is harder still. We also know that we may no longer fit into our current dancers’ schedules and we are truly sorry to those that are affected by our switch to Thursdays. We hope that those of you who can, follow us to the west side of the city when we make the change mid-Feb.
What we can tell you is that we’ve found a beautiful venue that is larger and has a stunning floor. It will allow us more space in classes, and our Swing City socials from March onwards are going to be all the better for it.

Swing Patrol Melbourne CBD is still at The Exford until the last classes on Tuesday 11 February, and the final Swing City at The Exford is Tuesday 4 Feb.
