Josh Varcoe

Josh walked into his first dance class back in spring 2012 and has been hooked ever since. Josh spent a year learning the ropes in the Geelong swing dancing community before his university studies brought him to Melbourne and its wonderful community. Since then he has been dancing upwards of four days a week and still wants more. A regular performer, Josh is part of Swing Patrol’s corporate performance troupe Harlem Shout and was also a member of Melbourne’s Own Bayside Strutters. Whenever Josh is not dancing he is training in medical physics. Swing dancing is fun, creative, and a great way to keep active, but, Josh believes, the most important thing it can bring to any dancer is community. (Photo credit: Cuskelly Photography)
