Read more about our Code of Conduct<\/a> and safety procedures.<\/a>\r\n<\/br>\r\n<\/br>\r\n\r\nCovid Safety – Swing Patrol\u2019s Community Health & Safety Plan<\/strong>\r\n<\/br>\r\nWe recognise that swing dancing is an activity with a high risk of transmission, but also that many people are keen to be dancing again. Swing Patrol continues to adhere to the government recommendation to be up to date and fully vaccinated against Covid-19, to hopefully mitigate serious personal illness. We therefore strongly encourage attendees at all classes and dance activities to consider their vaccination status and the possible risks incurred by exposure to numbers of people in close proximity and physical contact, indoors, unmasked and engaging in aerobic exercise. We also undertake a number of measures to hopefully limit transmission throughout the community. Read more about our Covid Safe Plan.<\/a>\r\nCancellations and Refunds<\/strong>\r\n<\/br>\r\nCLASSES: Generally, for pay-at-the-door classes, there is no refund available. However, we can be flexible if, for example, you are suddenly called away or taken ill within the first 10 minutes of a one hour class. Please chat to the teacher or door person.\r\nWORKSHOPS and BALLS: Some of our venues have a fixed capacity so we close off places for participants at a set point. For this reason, cancellations and refunds are not possible without 24 hours notice as we may have turned away other dancers. Attendees should assess whether their service animal is sufficiently trained to work in a class, workshop or social dance environment, which features amplified music, people coming and going, frequent changing of partners, lots of talking and laughing.\r\nWe don’t support general pets coming to classes\/events, as it can be disruptive for the students and teachers. Additionally, as it’s not something that attendees would normally expect in class, it’s unreasonable to expose people to animals in that environment, when they may find those animals triggering.
