Get Ready to Swing! Two Exciting Mini-Workshops on the Sunshine Coast

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious to try something new, these sessions are perfect for keeping your swing knowledge fresh or kicking off an exciting new dance chapter. Come to one workshop, just for a taste, or both sessions for even more Lindy Hop in your life.

Swing Patrol is thrilled to announce two upcoming swing dance mini-workshops in the beautiful Caloundra! We get asked a lot about teaching on the Sunny Coast, so the hope is that, if successful, we can add to these workshops.

Workshop 1: Sat 21 February 2026
Learn the fundamentals of swing dancing in a relaxed, friendly environment. No partner required—just bring your enthusiasm!

Workshop 2: Sat 21 March 2026
Take your swing skills to the next level! Explore styling tips and how to connect with the music for a truly expressive dance experience. This second workshop will also assume no knowledge but have different material in case you are keen to double down and do both workshops.

YOUR TEACHERS: The very experienced Joel & Jodi, who have been teaching regularly for Swing Patrol Brisbane and have been very much part of the swing dance scene for many years. Jodi lives in Caloundra, so is naturally excited to share swing dancing locally!

LOCATION: CCSA HALL (Main Hall) 1 Nutley St. Caloundra QLD 4551

*Please arrive a few minutes before the advertised start time, to check in and be ready to dance at the start of the session.*

WAITLIST: If your preferred ticket type is sold out Text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311, with your name, the workshop title, and which tickets you want, and Swing Patrol will text you back if tickets become available, giving you an exclusive Access Code to use for booking within a specific window of time.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
If you need to cancel due to illness/public health & safety, a refund will be available as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 9am on the day of the event.

Cancellations for reasons other than illness/public health & safety: As the venue has a fixed capacity, refunds are not possible without 48 hours notice, as we may have turned away other dancers and need time to give others the opportunity to snap up your spot. Thanks for understanding. Where applicable, a full or partial refund (less administration fee) may be available up to 11am on the Thursday prior to the workshop. Text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311.
