This fun and supportive workshop introduces you to the exhilarating world of Lindy Hop air steps and lifts. Scott & Crystal will carefully guide you through a range of beginner-friendly air steps designed to build confidence and technique. We’ll start slowly, with all lifts and aerials kept achievable and introductory.

To ensure comfort and safety, bookings are required as a partnership (no rotating partners), so you can work with someone you trust throughout the session. All attendees must be registered with a partner, purchasing one Pair Pass (for one Base + one Flyer) for the partnership.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have explored the technical foundations of classic baby air steps including the Waggly Legs, Pop Jump, A-Frame, The Bug, and—if time permits—the standard flip. The workshop will also focus on safe spotting techniques, helping you feel secure and confident while learning. We’re excited to share these joyful, crowd-pleasing baby air steps and lifts with you.

Please arrive a few minutes before the advertised start time, to check in and be ready to dance at the start of the session.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: If you need to cancel due to illness/Public Health & Safety, a refund will be available as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 9am on the day of the event.
Cancellations for reasons other than Public Health & Safety: As the venue has a fixed capacity, refunds are not possible without 24 hours notice, as we may have turned away other dancers and need time to give others the opportunity to snap up your spot.
