Blues Workshop and Social

Blues is back with another 3 hour Intermediate level workshop with Jo and Andy. And if that’s not enough to get you excited, there will be a social dance that night run by our friends at Jukebox Blues, read on for all the details!

WORKSHOP INFO:

When: Saturday 7th September 2024

Time: 2.15-5.45pm (3 hours with breaks)

Where: Vine Church Hall, 196 Albion St, Surry Hills NSW 2010

Cost: $57 (10% discount for first 5 tickets of each type sold)

Transport: Nearest station is Central, limited street parking available (check signs)

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

2.00pm: Doors open

2.15pm: Class 1 – Ballroomin’ Blues

3.15pm: Break

3.30pm: Class 2 – Jukin’ Blues

4.30pm: Break

4.45pm: Class 3 – Musicality and creativity

5.45pm: Finish

WORKSHOP LEVEL:

These classes will be aimed at Intermediate and above level dancers, so if you have some Blues experience or are an intermediate level dancer in Swing or another partnered dance style, this class should be perfect for you. We will also have some tricky moves and technique for anyone who is up for a challenge.

If you are new to partner dancing, then this class may be too hard for you. Jo and Andy will be running an All-Levels Blues class at North Sydney on September 3rd 7.45pm which is ideal for beginners and a great way to refresh your Blues before the workshop: https://www.facebook.com/SwingPatrolNorthSydney/

WAITLIST:

If your preferred ticket type is sold out text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311, with your name, the workshop title, and which tickets you want, and Swing Patrol will text you back if tickets become available, giving you an exclusive Access Code to use for booking within a specific window of time.

Get excited for a night of Blues dancing in the cozy and cool Wiggle Room hosted by our friends at Jukebox Blues! Come dance after a hard day’s workshop, or just come dance for the fun of it. Tickets for the social will be sold on the door, but space is limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Stay tuned for full details to come soon.
