Beginner and intermediate classes every Tuesday from 6.30pm.

New to swing dancing? We’re so excited you’re joining us! Get ready to have fun and learn something new. No partner needed (we rotate regularly) and no bookings or pre-registration required.
Every Tuesday from 6.30pm (doors open from 6.15pm).
6.30pm • Level 1 • Beginners
7.45pm • Level • Intermediate
$20 for one class, per person.
$30 for two classes (same night), person.
Payment by credit/EFTPOS card (preferred) or cash. Legacy Class Discount Cards still valid.

6.30pm • Level 1 – Beginners
Drop in any week, all welcome! Each week we start from scratch with the basic steps so you can start anytime. We rotate partners throughout the class so no partner required, all you need is to show up and we’ll sort you out from there. If you’re keen to get started or want to work on your basic technique, this is the class for you.
7.45pm • Level 2 – Intermediate
Know the basics and looking for a little more challenge? Keen to add some moves to your repertoire or just need your weekly Lindy Hop fix? Then you want to be in this class. We will have new moves each week to challenge and entertain you, with a focus on getting the most out of the social dance floor.

On the first Tuesday of every month, we have our regular Level 1 beginners swing dance class at 6.30pm, then at 7.45pm we run an all-levels class (instead of our regular Level 2 intermediate class).
There’s something different every month including Blues, 1920s Charleston, solo jazz and more! This class is open to everyone – whether it’s your first class or you’ve been dancing for years. Make sure you follow us on Facebook to find out what we’ll be doing this month.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we gather and dance. Swing Patrol operates on the traditional lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. Always was – always will be – aboriginal land.
We’ll be closed over the Christmas/New Years break, but never fear! We’ll be resuming classes every Tuesday from 6.30PM, Tuesday 6th Febuary 2024.

North Sydney is closed for new students while we finish off our performance routine, but we’ll be back to regular, weekly drop-in classes for everyone from Tuesday the 22nd August 2023.
