The DecaVita Sisters at North Sydney

Get excited… the fabulous DecaVita Sisters from Sweden will be taking over at Swing Patrol North Sydney for one night only! They’ll be teaching two classes: solo Charleston and partnered Lindy Hop. These classes will be aimed at Intermediate and above level dancers, but if you’re a bit rusty Jo and Andy will be teaching classes in the lead-up to get you primed and ready for this special night.
 
When: Tuesday 19th March from 6.30pm
Where: Swing Patrol North Sydney
Class level: Intermediate and above level dancers
Getting there: The nearest station is North Sydney and there are plenty of buses from the city. Street parking is available, but please check the signs for any restrictions.
 
6:30pm – Class 1: Solo Charleston
7:30pm – Break
7:45pm – Class 2: Lindy Hop
 
One class: $35
Both classes: $55 (saving $15!)
Tickets on sale 12:00pm Saturday 20th January (see Buy Tickets link at the bottom)
Pre booking is strongly encouraged as we have a strict capacity for these classes.
 
About the DecaVita Sisters
Charlie and Rebecka, a.k.a the DecaVita Sisters, are world-renowned dancers specialising in authentic Swing and Jazz Age dances. They have been teaching, performing and competing together since 2006 and are today among the top names in the international Swing Dance scene. Charlie and Rebecka hail from Stockholm, Sweden, but they spend a lot of time on the road and have worked on six continents in more than 25 countries.
 
The DecaVita Sisters have won several major competitions, are founders of performance troups in both Sweden and the US and have many years of experience in coaching and choreographing group routines. Together they are known for their dynamic, creative and unique dance style. As two of the most liked and yearned for Charleston and Lindy Hop instructors world wide, Charlie and Rebecka strive to teach great technique in a way that is positive, coherent and productive. They particularly value the art of leading and following, believing that leaders and followers require equal amount of information in the classroom to create the best possible connection on the dance floor.

We’ll be closed over the Christmas/New Years break, but never fear! We’ll be resuming classes every Tuesday from 6.30PM, Tuesday 6th Febuary 2024.

North Sydney is closed for new students while we finish off our performance routine, but we’ll be back to regular,  weekly drop-in classes for everyone from Tuesday the 22nd August 2023.
