Welcome to Swing Patrol East Brisbane! We can’t wait to start dancing with you on Monday nights. All welcome 🙂

No need to bring a partner, we will be rotating throughout the class.

Level 1 – Beginners | 6.30 – 7.30pm

This class is for those new to dancing or new to swing dancing, and there is no experience required. We go over the basics every lesson and add new moves every week so you can start any time that suits you. This is a drop-in class, so you don’t need to book in advance. Check the class plan below. 🙂

Level 2 – Intermediates | 7.30 – 8.30pm
The Level 2 timeslot at East Brisbane will run as a series of 5-week courses.
Our next 5-week course is designed to Level Up Your Swing Dance Skills. This course runs Monday 17 March to Monday 14 April. Pre-registration is essential, no drop-ins. For more details and BOOKING LINK CLICK HERE

Outside of the courses, we’ll showcase speciality swing dance styles. The first of these is a Shim Sham Workshop on Monday 28 April, 6.30-8.30pm: a two hour deep dive into the Shim Sham, the iconic jazz routine loved by swing dancers worldwide! Level 3 – Challenge | 8.30 – 9.30pm  * TRIAL CLASSES: April 7th, May 12th, June 2nd

For dancers who are accomplished on the social dance floor and happily pushed to work on frame, connection, power and more complex patterns and concepts. Super-experienced teachers Leigh Richards and Scott Cupit will ensure top quality learning, and fun along the way. This is a drop-in class, so you don’t need to book in advance. Cost is $18, or $9 if you’ve paid for another class or the 7.30pm course on the same night.
