Gabba Fridays: Activating Gabba’s Logan Road Precinct

Put these dates in your diary for some free outdoor dancing, hosted by the Swing Patrol team. The events will be on the fourth Friday of each month in June, July & August.

This project is sponsored by the Visa Vibe Grants Program, activating public spaces at night and expanding more affordable, safer, and inclusive experiences that drive local community connection.

It’s a fabulous initiative, and Swing Patrol have been invited to play a role in activating the Gabba Logan Road Precinct. There will even be a proper portable timber dance floor and lighting. The sound system we will be using is next level – a serious outdoor sound system compared to what we’ve used before! Our troupe, The Swing Outs, will be on hand, as well as our senior teachers to offer taster lessons, games and ensure these are really well-curated events. Brings your friends, enjoy the performances and plenty of social dancing.

Friday 26 June 2026, 6pm – 9pm
Location: Copacabana, Easy Times Brewing and Mr Badgers (yes, we have connected all three!). Simply enter via Logan Road and head out the back: we will have a pop up dancefloor waiting for you.
