We’re closing out the year in true swing style with the annual Swing Patrol Christmas Party — bigger, brighter, and more festive than ever!
Get ready for an afternoon packed with dancing, live music, student performances, and all the joyful chaos that makes our Christmas parties legendary. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the floor for the very first time, this is the social dance party you don’t want to miss.

• Beginner-friendly lesson 2-2:30pm – no experience needed!
• Melody Graves Quintet bringing the dance floor to life
• High-energy performances from all our classes
• Swinging Christmas DJs between sets

ABOUT THE BAND
Melody Graves Quintet brings early swing, blues, and a New Orleans flavour to the social dance floor with polished arrangements, and dancer-friendly tempos for Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Blues.

OTHER STUFF
*Due to the nature of live music and our favourite wooden flooring in dance halls, please consider bringing ear protection if noise is an issue for you. Although often not amplified, multiple live musicians all playing at the same time can create a high level of noise.
**Due to the costs associated with hiring a live band, and hall hire etc, there will not be concession or student ticket prices. If this cost is prohibitive to your attendance at the event please reach out to Monique at Swing Patrol for a confidential chat!**
For cancellations and refunds, text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311.
Where applicable, a full refund (less admin fee) will be available up to 7 days before the event. A 50% refund (less admin fee) will be available up to 5pm on the Wednesday before the event. After 5pm on the Wednesday before the event, no refunds will be issued.
Cancellations due to illness/public health & safety: If you are unwell, for the safety of our community, please don’t attend this event. Text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311 by 5pm on the day before the event to arrange for a transfer to an alternative Swing Sesh date.
