A 3-week course encouraging creativity and play to jazz up your Lindy Hop.

Ready to level up your Lindy Hop?

This course is all about mixing rhythms – getting creative with your footwork, playing with timing, and adding your own flavour to the dance. Whether you’re stuck in the same patterns or just want to spice things up, we’ll explore how to break out of the basics and truly connect with the music.

Expect drills, ideas you can actually use on the social floor, and plenty of time to experiment. Now you’ve mixed it up, we’ll help you get back on the 1 – so you can play freely without losing your place. We’ll also introduce moves and concepts to help you find your own style.

This course is for dancers with Lindy Hop experience (Level 2s) – you should definitely be comfortable with a swing out.

Please note that drop-ins are not available, pre-registration is essential. You will not be able to pay at the door pro-rata for just a couple of sessions. This is a closed course to ensure a cohesive learning journey for everyone involved. We look forward to dancing with you!

YOUR TEACHERS: Joining East Brisbane regular instructor Leigh is SP Riverside anchor Kahl. Together and individually, two of the most popular social dancers and performers in the Brisbane swing dance scene.

We try to maintain a fairly even ratio of Leads and Follows, to ensure optimum learning for partner dancing.

REFUND POLICY: If you are unable to commence the course due to illness, cancellation and refund is available if you text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311 prior to 10am on the day the course commences. After this time, no refunds are available.
Full payment is required to register for the course, and no partial refund will be available for participants who miss a session.
